An informative an enjoyable day suited to those who have tasted many wines but would like to unlock the secrets on how to identify quality and recognise value for money.
The course covers topics ranging from the magnificent seven, top Australian wine growing regions, how wine is made, deciphering the label and identifying quality to help you get value for money with your wine purchases.
Course includes a wine education book, wine & food matching workshop, 14 wines and bread, olive oil, balsamic and dips on arrival. All wines tasted are masked and attendees have the opportunity to test their skills with a wine options quiz.

The day begins with the Mechanics of Tasting Wine including a taste of sparkling, red and whites and information on how wine is made. We then launch into a major tasting of Varietal wines. We'll cover the differences between warm and cool climate wines and work out which wine to drink with what. In our Wine and Food Matching Workshop, you'll learn how to listen to your taste-buds and identify quality wines.
